Franklin & White, Inc. was founded in 1995 to provide support services to management development consultants. Business partners Barbara P. “Bobbin” Franklin and Katie R. White had worked together in leadership and organizational development—a combined 40+ years—where they became expert in psychometric assessment tools and instruments.
While at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), Greensboro, NC, Bobbin and Katie introduced many innovations, including a centralized test processing function, a tuition reimbursement program for staff, a development program for executive secretaries and a scholarship program for nonprofit executives.
Stephanie Lischke, Owner
In 2018, Stephanie bought Franklin & White from the company’s founders, after working closely with Bobbin and Katie for years.
Stephanie brings significant experience in assessments, leadership and organizational development, and executive coaching. She spent 15 years at the Center for Creative Leadership, initially managing CCL assessments and certification process, and then served many years as a CCL Senior Faculty designing, delivering and managing leadership programs and engaging in executive coaching. In 2014, she began consulting for AlixPartners (a global consulting firm) and subsequently launched Positive Developments, her own leadership consulting firm.
Franklin & White has been my go-to service for assessment processing for decades.
Bobbin and Katie have built a great reputation for excellence and service in the industry.
Rachael is passionate about providing outstanding customer service and exceeding client expectations. She believes in the power of assessments and the impact this information can have on individual and team development. During 12 years at the Center for Creative Leadership, Rachael served a variety of functions in Research, Innovation and Product Development as well as Custom Program Management. She graduated from UNC-Asheville and completed graduate coursework at the University of Tennessee School Psychology program. A native of Greensboro, Rachael loves to spend time with her husband, son and lovable dog Grover.
Kristen Newnam serves F&W as an Assessment Administrator. Kristen comes to us from the Center for Creative Leadership where she served for seven years as a Senior Project Manager for the Societal Advancement practice. Her clients included the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Colorado Health Foundation, and Southern New Hampshire University. Kristen brings strong attention to detail, quick responsiveness and excellent interpersonal skills. We are thrilled that she is on board and is bringing her client-focused mindset to Franklin & White.
Susan Rossetti serves as Franklin & White’s Director of Business Development. She comes with more than 20 years of experience in development and marketing, having served as Senior Associate Director of Development at the University of Chicago, Director of External Affairs at the Arts & Business Council of Chicago, and in marketing roles at Film Independent and M&T Bank. Susan is also affiliated with the Center for Creative Leadership where she currently serves as a course manager for digital learning products. Her broad skillset and strategic mindset are a terrific addition to the Franklin & White team.
Heidi’s background is in customer service and project management for the printing industry where she honed her organizational skills with a wide variety of customers from Lexington Home Furnishings, to GAP, and Smith Sport Optics. She has two (mostly) grown children and enjoys tending to her 100-year-old bungalow, quilting, and travel. Heidi has a B.A. in English from Appalachian State.
Melodie has worked globally in leadership development for more than 20 years. Her skillset includes leadership experience in customer service, sales management and business development, training, design, talent management, organization development, leadership development, and executive coaching. She specializes in making abstract concepts clear and concrete, asking just the right questions to help clarify complex situations. Her approach enables her to help clients make the development and feedback process practical and applicable to the client’s environment.
Evelyn has lived in Greensboro for 40 years. She graduated from UNCG with an accounting degree and has worked with large and small companies, both non-profit and for-profit, throughout the course of her career. She loves the variety provided in working with every client.
Sally has decades of experience with leadership development companies working in finance. She directs and manages the contracted financial support services that Franklin & White offers clients.
